Dear Advisors,
I am Nadine Kei Inara and I have the pleasure of serving as the Under Secretary General of Outreach and Education for Berkeley Model United Nations’ 74th session. My mission is to make Model UN more accessible and impactful for delegates by expanding outreach efforts, enhancing digital resources, and fostering an environment where every delegate can grow as a speaker, thinker, and leader beyond the conference.
BMUN offers free virtual or in-person outreach sessions for your high schools, where we work on building their public speaking, diplomacy and MUN skills, as well as their knowledge on international relations and MUN program development. We usually begin with a presentation with a topic of your choice, which can range from Crisis procedure to College Application Workshops, and do an activity and/or simulation. You can schedule an outreach session through this outreach session request form. Think of us as a resource for all your MUN-related needs!
I am excited to formally invite you to attend our in-person Delegate Workshop on Saturday, 11 October 2025. Our curriculum will cover Novice, Advanced, Crisis and Chair Training resources. Students will have the chance to strengthen their Model UN skills through small group sessions and a practice simulation designed to prepare them for larger conferences. Additional details will be shared in August. We will also have our online Delegate Workshop on Saturday, 18 October 2025, which will have GA Procedure and Crisis Procedure sessions.
We are committed to supporting the growth of your clubs and empowering students to reach their highest potential. If you have any questions, requests and/or suggestions at all, please do not hesitate to contact me at outreach[at]bmun.org. Looking forward to a great year ahead!
Sincerely,
Sincerely,
Nadine Kei Inara
